The Significance of Awk Phansa (End of Buddhist Lent Day)
Awk Phansa, or the End of Buddhist Lent, marks the conclusion of the three-month rainy-season retreat observed by monks and novices. It is an important day on which Buddhists make merit by offering alms, listening to sermons, and engaging in various religious activities. It is also a day when many people choose to refrain from vices, including the consumption of alcohol, as a way of fostering auspiciousness in their lives.
Date of Resumption of Service
Haus Bangkok will reopen on October 8, 2025, ready to welcome all guests with our signature cocktails, lively atmosphere, and special activities throughout this October.
✨ We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and deeply appreciate your kind understanding and continued support for Haus Bangkok. We look forward to welcoming you back after Awk Phansa. 🍸
